Unidentified Man – Photographed in Elmira, NY

This photo was sent to me by Cousin Roger R. Hughey, who is a descendant of https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Campbell-31865

Can anyone identify him?

In the Civil War, most Union soldiers were volunteers and each regiment was free to design its own uniform — many or which were made by mothers or wives of the soldiers. So, it’s hard to know for sure, but my guess is that he’s wearing a Union uniform blouse.
