One of our members is a child of Leo Close Blanchard. I remember visiting his parents, Oliver Benjamin “Ben” and Vera Close Blanchard at their home in Nelson, pn Rt. 49. They were very gracious and Ben was always “daper.” Their daughter-in-law, Emily SEELY Blanchard, was a Campbell Cousin — the daughter of Mark B. and Sue LOSEY Seely. And Ben and Angie’s daughter, Vera BLANCHARD Baker, was the mother-in-law of our beloved, Elva “Peg” OWLETTT Baker Maines

The caption on the phot below was “O.B. and Leo Blanchard.” I assume that standing are Charles Blanchard (husband of Emily Seely) and Ben. And that the seated male is Leo.
