Thank you Cousin Ann LUGG Alexander for this news clipping about the graduation of Cousins Elva “Peg” OWLETT Baker Maines and her 1st cousin, the late Harold A. Owlett (1923 – 2005). The teacher was Ann’s grand-mother, Ila HESS Lugg Wylie (1907 – 2003), who rescued some of Nelson from the bulldozers, and whom I was privileged to meet.

Harold Owlett was a son of Carlton Andrew Owlett (1894 – 1963).
