Those who have been to any of our in-person reunions know Peg. She’s a granddaughter of Ann BOSARD Owlett, who was a grandaughter of Joseph and Ann Clinch Owlett. Peg is the mother of our past president, the late Rieta BAKER Boyden, And the aunt of Diane OWLETT Pitts.
Here’s the announcement from Cousin Robin DeKAY Kent: We are celebrating my Grandma Peg’s 100 year birthday this Saturday, September 9th at 1:00pm at the Mainesburg Community Center. 103 Williams Rd, Mainesburg Pa 16932. We will have a sign on Rte 6, but it’s pretty easy to find. It’s on the back street in Mainesburg and there is only one back street in Mainesburg, you will turn off Rte 6 between a feed mill and a Methodist Church. If you have had any history with this fabulous lady please stop in. No gifts please. You might know her from all her 100 years in Tioga County, first as Elva (Peggy) Owlett, married Shirley Baker, then after his passing married Raymond Maines. She is still very much full of life, can recall things better than myself and remains fully independent. Please come and help us celebrate her glorious 100 years.”
